Master's Degree Student at Northeastern University

Teaches Grades 4 - Calculus

Katya is a master's degree student at Northeastern University, having graduated from McGill University with a degree in chemical engineering. She graduated from Ridge High School having gone through their accelerated math track including honors and AP math classes. She has been teaching math with Basking Ridge Math Club for over seven years with experience teaching grades 3-11, focusing primarily on algebra and geometry. She has also tutored precalculus to her peers as a member of the National Honor Society and tutored chemical engineering classes to her peers at university. She has an advanced understanding of calculus having excelled in high school and university classes in this subject which plays an integral role in her degree. She has also taught and supervised summer camp classes of groups of children ages 6-13.
