First-year Student at Northeastern University Majoring in Molecular Biology
Teaches Grades 5 - Algebra 1
My name is Alexandra, and I am a first-year student at Northeastern University studying Cell and Molecular Biology.
I have been extremely passionate and interested in learning math ever since being accepted into my elementary school’s Gifted & Talented program.
In high school, I continue to take advanced math classes while also pursuing my interest in the biomedical sciences.
I have extensive teaching experience through the afterschool enrichment program Kumon, where I taught students ages three to seven one-on-one in the subjects of math and English.
Additionally, I assisted middle school students with more advanced math concepts.
I have also privately tutored middle school students. By learning and teaching math, I truly understand the impact that a patient and thoughtful teacher can make.
I want to share my love and knowledge of math with other students to help them gain confidence and enthusiasm for the subject.
I can tutor students in any grade of elementary school math, middle school math grades six and seven, and Algebra 1.
